Winter School of Lax 2017!

About:

Welcome to the evolution of athletic training. School of lax is proud to offer EVERYTHING you need in order to become the best lacrosse player you can be.  This is meant for players to take their game to the next level by increasing their ability through speed and strength training coupled with IQ and on field work ALL IN ONE!

For all HS players we will be putting them through rigorous weight room workouts, speed & agility trainings, and high intensity lacrosse training 2 DAYS PER WEEK. On top of that we'll spend time each week breaking down film to increase their lacrosse IQ.

Middle School players will be doing the same workouts but modified strength training more so with calisthenics training and body weight movements 2 DAYS PER WEEK. This will push these student athletes to the next level. 

SPOTS ARE LIMITED!!!!! ONLY 30 SPOTS FOR THE MIDDLE SCHOOL & 20 PER HIGH SCHOOL AGE GROUP!!

Head Trainers

Chris Gervat: 4 Year Starter and Captain at UMass. UMass Lacrosse Individual Fitness Champ 2003 (combined weight testing, speed,  and distance testing), top 3 Finish 2001,2002, 2004. Holds record for most games played. Certified personal trainer.  

Jim Dejaeger: Certified Strength and Conditioning Trainer. 2X Fitness Champ - Davenport Men's Lacrosse 2014 & 2015. 2X All American and 2X Captain at Davenport University. Holds Record for: Face offs won in 1 game (29), Most GB's in a season (122), Average ground balls in a game (7.03), ground balls in a single game (15), and face off percentage (.70)

Key Focuses on:

  • Explosive muscle development through plyometrics and resistance training
  • Functional movements used to enhance your athletic ability on the field!
  • Overall strength training with large emphasis on core and complex muscle movements
  • IQ work and TONS OF TOUCHES with position breakdowns
  • Pushing our athletes mentally and physically to achieve their goals

 

Winter Schedule

Start Date: January 2nd, 2017

End Date: March 24th, 2017

Cost: $500 (Winter League is included if you sign up before December 15th) - NEED TO REACH OUT TO COACH JIMMY TO GET THE DISCOUNT CODE!

Breaks down to about $10/hour of elite training!!!

$650 After December 15th ($800 Total after) SAVE $300!!!

Monday-Thursday

4-6pm - You pick your days! We'll have your two day workouts planned for you! You can pick any combo of days you want Monday-Thursday!!

Break Down By Age

7th & 8th Graders Winter

30 players Max 

  • 2 Days of training every week on strength, speed, and lacrosse ability all with professional assistance. Coaches and trainers will be pushing you every step of the way!
  • Tuesdays  and Thursdays: 4-6pm
  • Each Session lasts 2 hours
  • Daily Work on strength through calisthenic and body weight resistance training. Core strengthening
  • Daily Speed and agility training
  • Daily field work broken down by position

9th & 10th Graders Winter

 20 players Max

  • 2 Days of Weight, Agility, speed, & Lacrosse training, and video breakdown all with professional assistance! Coaches and Trainers will be pushing you every step of the way!
  • Mondays & Wednesdays:  4-6pm
  • Each Session last 2 hours
  • Full weight room workouts charted for individual growth
  • Speed and agility test to measure increases in ability
  • Break down by positions and group work on field

11-12th Graders Winter

20 players Max (40 Total for both groups)
